I purchased the Holtkoetter Brushed Brass Narrow Kupfer Shade Floor Lamp about two weeks ago, and although I have never written a product review, my satisfaction with this item compels me to write. I own another Holtkoetter floor lamp so I am acquainted with the utter beauty of their designs and the dependable quality of their German construction. [...] Although they are more expensive than other lamps, I find its longevity and aesthetic pleasure worth every penny. This slender lamp does not monopolize the room, neither base size (so often a problem with either weight or size) nor height, which is adjustable. Everyone who visits comments on the lovely shape of the lampshade, as well as its attractiveness. I like that it can appear quite modern, yet also classic depending on where you put it in the room. The floor dimmer comes in a black or white cord, and given the length of the shade, the variations in illumination transform the room dramatically. One thing to consider is that the highest wattage is 100, which is excellent for reading, but not illuminating a large room. Enjoy this lamp!
