Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

The most disappointing aspect of this purchase is that, except for the back-plate and the screws, it is all plastic. For an item over $100.00 I was expecting brass or metal construction. to install you will need to pre-drill 4 holes in the wall. There isn't much room for adjustment, so if your frame is fairly thick, the curving of the neck is not enough to light up the the whole painting and you will have an annoying shadow on the upper area of the painting. Too expensive for a plastic lamp.
