A built-to-scale, hand-crafted and assembled wooden replica model of J. H. Rushton's Indian Girl Canoe design.
In 1902 the J. H. Rushton, the famed canoe designer/builder, introduced the Indian Girl model. This fully assembled canoe replica model is handcrafted by master craftsman using historical photographs, drawing and original plans, each model is built-to-scale with high grade wood. These highly detailed wooden models are each hand-built using the plank on frame construction method that's similar to how real ships are built. Each model takes many hours to craft and undergoes a thorough quality control process before leaving the workshop. Classic details such as the ribs along the inside of the canoe are sure to awe any collector, enthusiast, or decorator.
