Lovely shade for a narrow lamp. Used in a small room. It is very difficult to turn the lamp on because of the narrowness of the shade. It wouldn't take long to show wear from your hand squeezing in. Solved problem by installing a line switch.

Service & Delivery comments:

Delivery was prompt and the product was in great condition. My only comment would be that I would have preferred any packing materials to packing peanuts. There was a garbage bag full of packing peanuts, and it took me about 5 minutes to transfer them from the huge box that the shade came in to the bag so that I could dispose of them. And - to be environmentally friendly - I can't just throw them into the trash; I have to find some facility that will take them. Aargh.

Lamps Plus Response: Sorry you had problems with our packing peanuts. We've found that this type of packing material protects our lighting and decor products the best. We use eco-friendly, 100 percent biodegradable starch pellets as packing materials. These static-free pellets have the look of the old-fashioned plastic packing peanuts, but are made to degrade quickly in landfills and are completely petroleum, CFC and HCFC free, so they can be safely recycled or added to landfills.
