I choose this because it uses puts out 180 watts of light. Most other out out 100 watts. Great for larger area, however you can use lower wattage bulbs for ssmaller areas.

Such an improvement to the curb appeal of my house! Upgraded from a cheap builder grade ceiling fixture to this lovely hanging lantern. Another bonus is that now I can change the bulb myself - previous ceiling hugging fixture was beyond my reach even on the ladder. I had an electrician install this and 2 other fixtures.

We use this hanging light to illuminate the covered front door porch atrium of our Craftsman house. It serves as an inviting, yet also practical enhancement to our home whose design reflects the beauty of our house by mirroring its architecture. The fixture is open below casting practical illumination for easy finding of door keys at night. This same open feature provides for easy bulb replacement. At the same time, this fixture provides eye catching attractiveness to sidewalk viewers and visitors alike. Its sides are handsomely covered with exotic looking seeded glass, through which viewers can see what appears to be an inviting candle lit fixture within with three candelabra style bulbs providing illumination.
