Provides beautiful ambient lighting. Filtered light spreads up and down but doesn't hit the eye. Small in scale but large in style.

It would be nice to have the option to Dim the light. It is either On bright or Off. Other than that, I would recommend (especially for that price).

This lamp seemed fairly priced among comparable designs. The light is well distributed below and above the three bulbs that sit inside the square configuration. The style is minimalist and functions well. The bulbs can't be replaced with typical energy efficient alternatives and require removal of the top glass section. I would avoid putting the lamp in a location where people will be standing next to it because it will come to most guest's head level. Since the light shines vertically this may not bother some people, but it seems strange to be staring at the main section of the lamp. We have ours near the couch, in a corner. Overall, I am pleased with the appealing combination of contemporary form and function.
