This lamp is stunning and made an excellent buffet lamp. I look every where for a buffet lamp and it was difficult to find one I liked. I noticed this lamp was approx. the same dimentions with the exception of the shade which is slightly bigger than a buffet lamp shade. It worked out great. I notice it is excellent quality. I ordered another one. Kathy Ireland makes quality lamps. Highly recommend!
