1st time lamp arrived, the luminaire didn't work. Shipped it back for replacement. 2nd time, the marble-like globe was shattered. Shipped back for replacement. 3rd time (not the charm) it arrived missing a globe and the threads were stripped and covered in paint, so it couldn't be assembled properly.

Purchased for our living room. This lamp is nice, we wanted something heavy so our toddler would not knock it around. We needed more light and the 3 lights help a lot. The main light is a dimmer so that helped a lot in our decision. You need to know this is a big lamp! not suited to small rooms. you need large furniture for it to go with. We have a large couch and large mirror that help absorb it into the decor. it will still take a while for it not to be a lamp with a room.

Lamp is well put together & heavy. Wonderful lighting.Easy to put together except side lights. Nice design but the ring system to screw in the side lights..area too small to tighten to prevent wiggle movement. Needed special needle nose plyers. Also,lamp design is too massive for small family room where we wanted to use it. Pictures made it look a more early American

The side lights aren't on a goose-neck. Swiveling only up and down, their usefulness for spot-lighting is limited, and what else are they there for? The top lamp is quite wide, so don't get it for a small space.

I have a room with high vaulted ceilings. Adding this lamp gave a more "homey" feeling to the room while still being a very decorative accent. I like that I can direct the light for general use or use it for specific tasks like reading or sewing. Very happy with the purchase!!! Should last a long time.
