This fountain was purchased because I wanted to create a relaxing atmosphere in my bedroom and it worked! The fountain was in many pieces but it was labeled well enough for someone like me to put together (and I'm not good at putting stuff together ). My only problem came when I finished putting it together and water went everywhere(until I figured out that the copper at the top needed to be flat against the slate). Once I lined things up, it ran perfectly and the fountain adds a calm feel to my bedroom . I love it!

Very attractive to look at and has a soothing sound with relatively quiet pump. Two major problems mean we are returning it, however. First problem is that it periodically sends water out as well as down meaning it splashes onto the floor well away from the tray on which we have placed it. The second problem is the light cannot be turned off while leaving the fountain on unless the light is disconnected. It does not appear the plug is sturdy enough for routine unplugging and the light has stopped working within a month of purchase.
