The finish flakes off

The style is very attractive. However, the finish is not durable. It flakes and gets white spots on it. It does not seem to matter how much the light is exposed to weather.

We placed these lights on either side of our garage doors. They look great. I like the warm glow. I think they are classy and different than most lights you see. They go with our oriental decor, even though they are a mission style

I used this light between my two garage doors and it's perfect. It adds depth and interest to an otherwise flat area. I use a low wattage bulb and it creates a soft, inviting light. I'm very pleased with the overall construction.
