I bought two of these for use on high sloped ceilings - walk-in closet and laundry room. They are beautiful, like floating outer-space objects, and give lots of light -- or rather ONE of them gives lots of light. The other one is comparatively dim. The difference was obvious immediately after installation, because I can see both fixtures at once, given their close proximity. The professional electrician who installed them in July came back to investigate, and sees little black bits in both bulbs, and thinks they're near end of life already. That's where the bigger problem comes in. I cannot find any replacement 70-watt circline bulbs anywhere. Am currently waiting a callback from Lampsplus in Denver/Littleton 'cause Lampsplus doesn't carry them either. Since these Kichler fixtures are still in stock, and mine are under 2 months old, I'm waiting to see if they will just replace both entire fixtures. I DID find a 70-watt circline replacement at lampsusa.com, but it specifies use only in Blue-Max brand fixtures. Would give the light 5 stars and will upgrade rating if the bulb problem can be resolved, because I truly LOVE the look of these fixtures. Oh. One other item for DIY-ers. The electricians hated the installation of these. But then they said that about most of the fixtures I bought. All my electricians apparently have fingers too big to work easily with itty bitty light parts.
