Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

The style is so cute and goes perfectly in my family room.However, the color is not off-white, but a very pale shade of green (I am happier with this color in my mostly green room). I especially like the 3-way switch, because sometimes I read by it and sometimes I'm cleaning and need a stronger illumination.

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

This lamp is being described as "warm white" and it is no where near white. It is grey and if I am going to keep it I will have to paint it. It does not go well with my "warm White" bedroom set. I have a very unhappy husband who thinks I should just send back but I like the style and it is well made. Just do not think you are going to get anything near white.
