We used three of these pendants over a kitchen island and they are stunning and we have received compliments from everyone that enters the kitchen. They are high quality and easy to look at. They add sufficient lighting over the island.

The fixture does not come with 6" rods needed for proper height on 8' ceiling. Rather than providing 3 12" rods they should include a 6" rod with two 12" rods. The finish on the 6" rod kit is a slightly different hue but hard to detect unless looking for it. The rods also had some minor scratching but not enough to hassle with sending them back

For cost and looks, this light would be a great addition to your dinning room. The clean lines, easy installation and relatively inexpensive price, make this an easy upgrade most home owners can afford. The look would suite a person looking for simplicity in their overall aesthetic. Not ornate, not colorful. Also, the amount of light isn't great, so if you're trying to illuminate a larger dinning room, you should consider alternatives.

We bought this lamp as a custom addition to our newly built custom home. We have very modern look to our decor - these pendants give the room just the attitude that we wanted to achieve. We think they are sexy, functional (very good lighting) and elegant. I had a problem locating the bulb when it blew after the first year. Now I try to keep several on hand for future changes.

this light fixture hangs over a center island in my newly renovated kitchen and is just perfect for the look of the room. Can't comment on ease of hanging, bec. electrician did it. Haven't changed bulb yet so not sure how easy it will be, but think it will be fine. Love the fixture and have gotten many good comments on its design.
