This lamp has added whimsy, elegance and serenity to my room. I got two of these and the seam is a perfect join on both. The glicee shades make a decorative spot kind of lighting because by design the light doesn't penetrate the shade, the light is cast up and down. This way you get some local lighting and you get to enjoy the decorative pattern of the shade. I find myself staring at these two La Mer shades and naturally falling into a more ralaxed state. Love them, they are great.
