I bought it to go with existing lighting in the neighborhood which could be described as gothic-amber. This light is more yellow but diffused and pleasant. The fixture is a light bronze color lighter than the pictures show. This works well with the spanish or mission style in my neighborhood.

We ordered 17 units which surround our museum in Old Town San Diego. The nice thing was these lamps had to be spanish style and also be low in watts to meet Californias energy restrictions.We were able to find both in these lamps [...]

After looking at so many different lights I settled on this one for its unique rustic look and beautiful glass which obscures any view of the lightbulb within. The finish was dissappointingly lighter than what I expected, not a deep bronze brown which the website portrays.
