I chose to purchase this light over other similar products because of the LED lights and I figured that because the cost was a little higher the quality would be better. I was disappointed with this decision. The first issue I have is that the on/off switch wouldn't work when running off battery power. I had to unscrew the cap a little to get the light to go off. Then from the twisting of the cap the coating rubbed off and galled up in the threads. It took a set of pliers and quite a bit of effort to get the cap off. The threads were then damaged significantly. The mounting options aren't very universal. I had a hard time finding a convenient place to mount the light.

Batteries corroded in a few weeks . . .

Way over priced. Mine was a gift. It's attactive, but not easy to mount. The screw has to be fully unwound, then fully rewound, which takes about 5 minutes. You can't leave this outdoors because the heat and mositure will cause the batteries to leak, which spills acids on the inside, rendering it useless. I've had mine out doors for 9 weeks and I can't even open the battery compartment. When I disassembled it, I found all the metal wires corroded away and no longer working, even with a new battery. Don't waste you time. Get a bicycle headlamp or just use your rechargable flashlight.
