Fixture is beautiful and well made, however I wish it came with a pull chain to turn the light off and keep the fan on. Will have to check into purchasing the remote.

Love this light kit! The only odd thing is that the light also shines up through the openings on the ceiling, & you can get a kind of strobe effect if the fan is on. Have a family member w/ epilepsy, so we're careful about when fan & light are on at same time.

I've used this light kit on a mid-motor fan successfully in a smallish home office. It made quite a statement. I like it so well; we're moving it to the master bedroom. Provides only 80 watts total of light; but it just perfect to provide ambience with a Zen feeling. It's more substantial than pictures, more expensive looking & high quality. Can't do better overall at this price.
