This recessed light features a 5" reflector with white flange and white plastic baffle. The classic recessed light creates a brighter appearance when illuminated but blends with white ceiling when off. To be used with Lightolier IC New Construction, Non-IC New Construction and Non-IC Remodeling recessed light housing.

This Lytening IC housing from Lightolier is designed to offer a full range of lighting performance in fully insulated ceiling applications up to 1" thick. It accepts a wide choice of reflector trims and lamps up to 100 watts. The AirSeal complies with MEC and WSEC air leakage requirements. It includes pivoting bar-ends, pre-installed mounting screws (or nails), and tool-free cable clamps for fast, convenient installation. To be used with Lightolier recessed light trim. 10 3/8" wide. 12 1/4" long. 7 1/4" high. 5 1/4" ceiling cut out.

Recessed housing for remodel application where back side of ceiling is not accessible. Installed through an opening in the ceiling from below. Design for use in non-insulated areas. If installed where insulation is present, the insulation must be pulled back 3" from all sides of the housing. Yes, they're more expensive than trims found in the big box discount places. Cheap trims just don't compare to Lightoliers--heavy, nicely finished inside and out, easy to install.
