Nice light, came in excelent condition and was an open box buy.
We bought this fixture to light our foyer and it does the job. However, you might have to change out the mounting plate in the existing box to a swivel one. If we used our existing plate we would not have been able to align the sides of the fixture with the wall. We also found that you need two people to put the shade on and attach the metal squares to the pipe that holds everything on. It was a little difficult to hold the 3 x 3" square and spin on the other square at the same time while holding the very heavy glass shade. The end result was worth the team effort.
The scavo glass is very pretty. When lit there are hints of rose, gold and green running through it almost like very faint rainbows. The style will go with almost any decor from craftsman to oriental to contemporary. The matching pieces are very attactive
this lamp looks fine when it is ON, but when it is off, there is a brownish tint/cast toward the base where it meets the ceiling that is not apparent in the picture. Best with rose-colored bulbs.
