Works great by a recliner used primarily for reading. It has a very sturdy base and adjustable arm and pole, making it easy to change the height and angle. Tucks nicely behind a small chairside table.

Since everyone's computer show various "color"-I assumed my "aged copper" lamp was going to be a deep teal (as it looked on MY computer) However, it's more black than anything else. Other than that- I love it.
