Even when I lowered the lamp as low as possible, the light glares into my eyes when I sit in the intended reading chair. I now have it next to a different reading chair and it is fine. I am disappointed it did not work in the original space.

This lamp can be used in a great variety of settings,such as:livingrooms, bedrooms,dens,offices,and family rooms ,and is also very good looking. It is reasonably priced,though it looks alot more expensive ,and will blend with most furniture types. All in all, a very good value.
