We put this lamp in a dark corner of our living room. The height is perfect because it sits lower than our surround sound so it doesn't block the speaker. For us, the best feature of this lamp is its dual pull chord system -- we can use either 1 or both bulbs, depending upon the amount of light we need at the moment. This lamp is exactly what we needed for our specific space.

We have this floor lamp by our couch in the living room. It's very pretty and gives us good lighting when we are reading. The only thing about the lamp that I was disappointed in was some of the stain glass parts didn't seem to get properly attached. I worry that the weight of the shade will eventually make the whole thing fall. We are going to try and use some super glue to hold it. We just figured trying to send it back would be too much of a hassel. Also I see that now the lamp is about half price.....wish I would have waited!!!!
