This sconce is a breeze to install and looks more expensive than it is. It has two candelabra bulbs (included), max 40 watts each. The shade is more of an ecru than ivory when lit. I put this in my walk-in closet and it's fab. The shape is really elegant and not overwhelming. It really is one of the nicest plug-in sconces I've ever seen, and I am a design pro. If you need another finish, I would recommend buying a metal faux finishing kit at the hardware store (verdigris, wrought iron, or goldleafing) and transforming this cutie. It really delivers (as long as you don't need hundreds of watts of light).

I purchased these lights for our basement remodel. I was looking for a modern, plug in wall scone (there are plugs very high up on the wall that needed to be covered up). They came together very nicely and the chrome looks great. The shades cast a very yellow/ivory hue, not a white. The metal cord cover was not quite long enough for the space, but it looks fine. Overall, I'm very pleased with them and they look great.

We don't have room for lamps on bed-side tables, so we got one of these to center over the headboard. It works perfectly for reading in bed, and it's very stylish. I love that it only sticks out about 4" from the wall. My advice about installation: be careful when opening the box and unwrapping all the pieces. The most essential parts are two tiny silver nuts. The instructions do not help at all. You need to mount the circular disk first, with two screws sticking out--their heads will be against the wall. Make sure to draw a line between the two screws that stick out and check that it's level. Then mount the lamp on those screws and put the little silver nuts on them. Took us a while to figure out whether the screws that were already in the circle were to go into the wall or the lamp, but it's the latter. It's beautiful when up, and very simple to install once you figure it out.

we put these on either side of our bed and it's the perfect amount of light. There is no overhead lights so we needed something that would light up the whole room but not be over powering. With the two lamps we got something stylish that lit up our room!
