We used this in an office in a pair over an entry island. They look pretty during the day and very nice at nice when they are lit from within and are a little more fun than a typical office look. I think they would also look good over a kitchen island.

This light is beautiful. I have a modern bedroom, so I was looking for a modern pendant lamp that wasn't too cold or industrial looking. This was the perfect choice as the natural shell gives it a very warm and inviting glow.

This is so much more beautiful than on the website! My decorator recommended it because he had put it in other houses. I was hesitant because it seemed a bit contemporary for the space, but it went perfectly over my kitchen island. I plan to buy the matching fixture to place over my kitchen table. The entire kitchen has the warmest feel now because of this light fixture.

Purchased this lamp for over a counter . The colors bring together the color of my kitchen cabinets and floor and brushed steel hardware without being too industrial. It also echos the shell chandelier in my dinette The light it gives off comes from both the body as well as above and below . I like the fact that it is easy to change the light bulb especially since it is over a granite counter. I only wish the cord had been covered by a metal sheath.

I wish there were more mosaic shell items available. The pendant is located over my kitchen sink and is a nice soft light that warms the entire room yet is not too bright. It makes our oak cabinets look really rich and can be used as a night light, general or task lighting. It is my favorite fixture!!
