I purchased 4 of these lights for the hall and stairway of our beach house. They are a perfect compliment to the shell chandelier we have. I haven't had to change the bulbs yet, but it appears to be simple. A surprising amount of light is illuminated. I have them on a dimmer, so I can adjust the lighting as needed.

I was afraid they would be too dim, since they take 40 watt bulbs, but they are perfect as a hallway wall sconce. They would be beautiful in bedrooms, dining rooms, hallways, anywhere! Perhaps too dim for bathroom vanity.
