This lamp, though simple in design, added a nice decorator touch with the black trim on the shade. Went well with transitional style room, but feel it would blend with almost any decor style. Oil rubbed bronze finish attractive. Lamp takes a 3 way bulb. Looks nice with our sectional. Selling point for us was adjustable height,so it could be matched to height of floor lamp we already owned. Sturdy and stable for its size. Easy to assemble. Easy to clean. Cord was long enough, but it had sticky white residue in some places which came off by rubbing with cloth moistened with water. Very pleased with our purchase!
