The LR6 downlight module is for both new and retrofit construction. It installs easily in most standard six inch recessed housings, including IC and non-IC units. The LR6 generates white light with built-in LED bulbs that offer a natural white light with high energy savings. The modules are dimmable with an estimated life around 50,000 hours, 5 times that of most compact fluorescent lamps. They consume only 12 watts of power but produce the equivalent of a 65 watt incandescent or 18 watt compact fluorescent. With an average usage at 5 hours a day, you could get over 25 years of life out of a single light module depending on how it is used.

These l.e.d. fixtures give off just the perfect light, as well as being bright enough for the task. They give peace of mind, knowing that I won't be constantly changing bulbs. A great product!

I have installed 16 of these in the 6" recessed lighting cans in my new home. I chose the LR6 with the 2700k because it most duplicates the softer color of incandescent lighting. They are in my kitchen, hallways,bedrooms and bathrooms. I am most impressed by the soft,excellent quality lighting they provide. The diffuser trim spreads the light evenly, no glare at all. The bulbs are easily dimmed with compatible dimmers. I am thrilled with my purchase and plan to buy more. Best of all, these bulbs are extremely Energy Efficient and I don't expect to be changing light bulbs for a VERY LONG TIME!

Service & Delivery comments:

Delivery took a little longer than usual, as these were shipped directly from the MFG, but very well packed. Customer service was excellent, and provide tracking info and shipping notice.

We installed these recessed lights in our kitchen. Although pricier than other recessed lighting, these fixtures will pay for themselves in tremendous utility savings over time. The lights are bright and add ambiance to our favorite room-- the kitchen. LED lighting is the wave of the future. They are "green" AND cost effective! And incredibly, the bulbs last a lifetime. No changing out bulbs!!!
