I liked the way the lamp was packaged for delivery. It looks great on my night stand in my bedroom. It was easy to assemble without any tools. The cord is six feet long. Remember to only use the small bulbs that this company suggests. A very good buy.

In addition to being stylish, this lamp is also very functional. This lamp is perfect on a table between two living room chairs. With the two bulbs, my husband and I can choose whether we want our side of the lamp on for reading. The pull chain for turning on the lamp is also great - you don't have to feel around to find the switch. We often watch TV with all the lights off and can quickly turn on the lamp in the dark if we need to.

Lamp arrived today and was badly bent--the base of the lamp also wobbled and the "brass finish" was full of imperfections--general cheap quality--looked like what you might expect from [@]. You get what you pay for.
