This is the second time I've purchased this lamp. It's exactly what I'm looking for and fits my decor perfectly. Unfortunately, the construction is poor and the base separates from the main part of the lamp. I went as far as having the first lamp welded at the base. The second one I purchased was just as flimsy, and the threads were stripped so I was unable to even put the lamp together.

The shade is quite a bit larger than the picture suggests: 18" diameter. The mica shade is held on with bendable metal tabs which looks a little cheap. Otherwise a nice lamp and better than anything I could find in the local retail outlets. I am keeping it. Additional note: the lamp came with one screw missing but the Lamp Plus team sent me a replacement very quickly and without any fuss. A+ for customer service!

It is a nice piece, which illuminates the dark corner of a sectional couch. The couch is needed to help the lamp stand up. The pole's do not stay securely fastened together.

This arch lamp appeared to be perfect for my living room. The mica shade matched the shades of my table lamps and brought out my orange accent colors. However, the top section of the lamp is too heavy for the base, so the lamp tilts at an awkward angle. In fact, it only stayed up if I made sure the base was under the bottom of the couch; otherwise, it would begin to fall over. [...] I'm thinking of reselling it or giving it to a thrift shop. [...]
