I like this fixture. I'm not absolutely in love with it. It "feels" small for a 3-light, 20 inch fixture. I think it's because the globes themselves are smallish and there's a lot of space in between. It's funky though, and I like that about it, as well as the touch of natural stone that warms up the distressed metal. Based on the description and the photo, I was expecting something that looked like, well, distressed steel. My light fixture is far more bronze than "iron patina" though. Since we just bought the house, it was easy enough to move it to the other bathroom that needed all new bath fixtures as well. And I've gone with oil-rubbed bronze fixtures and mirrors in that room to match my light. But if you weren't ready to plunge in with new fixtures, the unpredictability might be an unwelcome surprise. Overall, I like the light well enough. Coming out of the box, it's pretty, very solid and well made. But if I had to do it again, I'd likely choose differently.

We put this in a small bathroom over vanity. Beautiful light! The color that emits from the bulb/glass shade is so pleasing. It's bright, really, really bright with the 75w bulbs. Perfect for applying makeup. Honestly, the light that comes out feels photo studio perfect. Before considering using a lower wattage bulb, we highly recommend using a dimmer switch. With a dimmer switch, the bulb does not go to it's full "pre-dimmer switch" power even when the switch is on max. It's not super significant, but if you lower the bulb wattage also, it might be. The dimmer gives a flexibility that this light was made for. When really low, the light changes from a bright golden white to a warm amber. It's so pretty. Generally, we run it just above midway for everyday use. Sometimes you do need to amp it up and get all that bold bright light and it's there when you need it. The finish is like a painted faux effect. There is no roughness to the feel of the "aged iron". It has a matte finish, so it seems to be aged-ish ... from a distance. It's not bad. I pictured it differently in my mind, but am not disappointed. The one I got reads brown ... as opposed to grey. Again, the faux is multi colored, but from a distance you might think medium brown bronze-ish. The glass shades are the size of a 3" dia. x 4" high pillar candle, which is a very cool look. The metal feels significant and weighted, not flimsey. It gives the feeling of substance without looking heavy. It looked easy for my husband to install (wink, wink). The glass shades sit down into the frame and then are fastened down inside, so bulb changing is drama free. A special tool is provided for easily unscrewing the shade without having to squeeze your fingers in there. Overall a great purchase and I am excited to own this fixture.

Installed this in a half bath that I just remodeled. The light looks fantastic but the only thing is that the 3 halogen lightbulbs should be only around 40 - 60 watts. The light is very brite. This is an incredible product for the price. Would recommend this to anyone.
