Floor lamps such as this are a great way to add overall room light to a space. This handsome arc lamp from Nova is a design classic. It features a trio of warm mica shades with a dark wood base and bronze detailing. The shades are fashioned from the naturally occurring mica mineral. Slight variations due to the natural tone and pattern of the mineral make each shade unique. Arc design spreads the light out in a warm, inviting pattern. Built in dimmer.

Worth every penny and then some

I expected a decent product because of the price, but was pleasantly surprised when I saw the quality and size of this lamp. Not only do the lamps swivel out for maximum illumination, they will also bend down. The design allows many different configurations of the lights. Base is very sturdy and fits neatly under my sofa. Switch is a dimmer which lets me read or have mood lighting. Pigtail flourescent bulbs were sent with the lamp, but, in my opinion, do not look good. I put in some regular old 40W bulbs and get plenty of light to read and a great look when dimmed. Overall, this is an excellent investment that is useful and decorative. However, buyer beware, this is a large item and would not work well in a small area or with small furniture. The arc of the lights, when bent decoratively over my sofa, do not get in the way when my six foot husband sits down under them.

Found this when looking for an arc lamp to fit behind tan, leather, slightly bowed sofa. Lamp really sets off the sofa. Was taller than most of the other lamps we looked at. The lampshade material is very cool looking - and throws off a warm-color light. Easy to assemble for 2. Only wish is that dimmer had a wider range. Overall great purchase.

It looks fantastic in the corner of our large family room. I'd caution anybody who was thinking of putting it in a smaller room that it could overpower the room....it's big lamp that needs some space.

socket broke off replacing bulb first time changing bulbs. Lamps plus does not have replacement parts and neither does anyone else. This lamp costs about $133.00 per year to own not including electricity. Think about that...

This lamp is georgous and extremely fashionable. It adds to the warmth of the room. It is very versitile with the combination dimmer/on-off switch that allows for the user to dial in the amount of light they require. It changes the ambience in the room the moment you turn it on. A very warm and comfortable lighting.Just make sure you have the space and ceiling clearance as this is a good size lamp that needs room.
