This is a very handsome lamp for an office or side table. The swing arm is convenient if you need a little extra light where you are working. It is not a bright work light and works best as a warm, decorative light.

I really don't have any coplaints about this lamp. It was what I was expecting. The mica shade coupled with the 40 watt bulb that I installed provides a warm, subdued glow that is relaxing. I would recommended this product.
