A Mission-style table lamp with a rust finish teardrop base. The shade is fashioned from the naturally occurring mica mineral. Slight variations due to the natural tone and pattern of the mineral make each shade unique.

I love this little lamp and the "downward" light it gives. It is very sturdy which means I don't have to worry about kids or cats knocking it over.The only con is that the "arms" which connect to the neck of the lamp are stylish but a bit flimsy, and don't touch the shade evenly. Rather, they appear not to be connected to anything unlike the photo.

I use this near my entryway, which doesn't have an overhead light. Now I can turn on this lamp as I enter, without having to walk across the room in the dark.

Creates a warm atmosphere

There are a couple of features about this lamp that surprised me. One was that the metal arms that extend from the base out to the bottom of the shade have quite large ends that stick out from the shade. You can't really appreciate that in the picture and the real thing looks less cohesive because of this. Also, the bulbs that come with the lamp shine through the shade very brightly, to make two bright splotches. The latter is not a big deal, and you can see it in the picture when you look again carefully, but I didn't really like it effect. However, despite these things, it's a very pretty lamp that gives nice mood lighting to a dark corner.We've gotten several compliments already.
