I bought this as a Christmas present to myself....love the lamp. It's high enough to see from anywhere in the family room. I have it on my work desk in the corner of the family room that is my home office. I'm back to find another Tiffany lamp for the bedroom.

This Table Lamp is perfect for our Living Room which has lighting on an 18' ceiling. The glow is bright without being glaring. We Love It!!

I bought two of these lamps to sit on the nightstands in our room. They produce a wonderful, subdued light from a distance but provide good light for reading directly underneath. The only thing I do not like about them is that the on/off switch is on the cord instead of the base.

I bought this to sit on my desk, but...the lighting is terrible. The bottom of the lamp is very heavy however, the lamp tips a little when the arm is fully extended. So you can't have it sitting on the desk/table as it is in the picture. So I have it sitting on a side table just for decoration. So with that in mind, I said I would recommend it because it's cute, different.

I use this lamp at bedside as it is out of the way during the day, but is easy to slide over toward the bed for reading at night. It is exactly right for my purpose and lovely to look at. I would like it better if the switch was not on the cord.

I ordered one of these lamps to use on an end table in the living room next to one end of my sofa. I wanted a swing-arm lamp so that I could get good task lighting over my reading material while sitting on the sofa. When I first researched this item, the description stated the lamp could accomodate a 150 watt bulb, but when I came back online later to order, the info had changed to 100 watts. I called Lamps Plus, and was told that 150 watt was an error; the lamp in fact requires a 100 watt bulb. This disappointed me, but I wanted the lamp bad enough to give it a try. I am currently using a mini 100 watt equiv. CFL bulb to try to get more light output. I may try a mini 150 watt CFL (if they even make one-I don't think they do.) I am amazed at how heavy the base is, which is important for balance when swinging the lamp arm out over the arm of the sofa. The design is excellent in this regard. I do find that the shade itself is a little small; I do wish that it was larger. However, I will be ordering another one like it to place on the matching table at the other end of my sofa. One thing that I was surprised about is the fact that the switch is on the cord, not in the usual place at the base of the socket. This lamp does give my living room the Arts and Crafts look that I wanted. The workmanship of the glass in the shade appears to be high quality. And.....my husband has commented more than once that he likes the lamp! He told me to go ahead and order the other one, so I will certainly be doing that!!!
