Nice, but....

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

The light is nice overall - good size and VERY bright (almost too much if you have any other lighting in the vicinity)- but we have one problem which may warrant its return. Due to the way the bulbs are positioned and the chains which hold it up the light that escapes through the top of the fixture casts a very odd, irregular geometric pattern on the ceiling. I'm waiting to see if it grows on me or I stop noticing.
