I bought this light (open-box item) to match the 27" Olympia 5-light chandelier bought and installed in my dining room. They are a matching pair so of course match perfectly - both are visible from the entryway hall. As with the 5-light chandelier, it is constructed of quality material and look very elegant. Easy to install. I also changed my old switch to a dimmer switch - this is highly recommended. There is nothing wrong (at least not noticeable) with the open-box light, and I saved about $100 [...]

The construction caused some difficulties in putting this product together and hanging it. Once I figured out what piece went first, it worked okay. Having several lengths of down piping was very helpful. I kept them all in case I wanted to drop it someday. Overall, it looks great in my dining room.

This fixture is perfect for an entryway or over a dining table. It provides a bright light and looks very nice on or off. My only complaint is that it does not come with a short down-rod which I needed to hang it at my entry.

Light was easy to hang and install, but I'd suggest either having two to help hang it, or putting the glass in last. Unfortunately I didn't get help followed instructions, and as I was hanging the fixture the supports slipped and the glass was shattered. The second time I hung it I placed the glass on last. This made it easier to hang as it was much lighter, and the the glass still went in very easily.

This is such an attractive addition to our kitchen over the table. The illumination is perfect for homework. The amber glass creates a softened light that washes the room in welcoming light without any glare over the work area. I smile every time I walk into the kitchen!
