Bottom Line:

I had been eyeing this fixture on line for a while for our living room, and when they went on sale I decided to go for it. The fixture is a great size, big enought to have an impact, but not so big that it overpowers. The bulb it is displayed with seemed wrong/too small so I tried Edison bulbs instead and absolutely love the look - see photo. Everyone who comes over comments on this fixture. The reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the color, which isn't obvious in catalog or on line photos, but it's medium flat brown with black splatters on it. It's odd actually, since the fixture is metal I expected it to look black or dark bronze. But I couldn't live with how strange the color technique looked so I painted it with oil rubbed bronze spray paint, which was a little tricky since I needed to spray the inside too, and now I love it! The oil rubbed bronze is nearly black, has the slightest hint of metallic sparkle, and the result is absolutely gorgeous.
