I purchased the product initially and after a month or so it started going on and off randomly. I contacted the seller and described my issue and based on my knowledge of the tech, what the underlying problem was, basically a poorly designed capacitance switch. The seller sent me 2 new switches. These were identical to the previous two and showed the same problem. I was later able to communicate with the manufacturer who eventually sent me 2 'redesigned' switches. These behaved exactly like the previous switches. I finally ended up removing the switches.

Dimmer switch is unpredictable

I am having the same problem as another comment. The switch sometimes has a mind of its own and cycles continuously through the modes. I assume it is something affecting capacitance and confusing the switch. I wipe it with plain water or a little detergent and water and it seems to recover. It should have been designed to be less sensitive for such an expensive part.

Spent more than $400 for a light and dimmer setup. Easy to install but after about a week of use, the dimmer just does whatever it wants.... Turns the light off repeatedly or just travels up and down through it's range of settings. Overpriced junk... Buy another brand. Now I'm stuck with ordering a replacement dimmer and hoping this one lasts.
