I posted a review already only after a few months, the bulb stopped working. That was bad. Justlamps sent me a replacement. Less than half a year later, the bulb gave up again. There is something not right here. It would be bearable if the bulbs were not so hard to find and expensive. One thing is certain, I will stay away from Ottlite bulbs. Would love Lampplus to send me another replacement bulb obviously, but seriously, this is a nuisance more than anything.

I own another Ott floor lamp which I absolutely love and needed another one for my craft room. I finally found this one which would match the metal color of another lamp in the same room. I love the design of the lamp and where the switch is located. It is easy to turn off and on. The base is very sturdy and attractive. I like the lamp except for the quality of the shade (top of lamp). It is thin shaped metal and very cheap looking. My other Ott light has a metal shade, but it is well made and substantial looking. It bothers me every time I look at it -- I hope I get accustomed to it. Time will tell. I also wish it was made in the USA.

This product works well in a dark area for reading and needle work. The lamp is a great size for a small area and looks very nice however I was looking for a darker color but liked the slim look of this lamp.

I am very unhappy with my purchase.From the first day out of the box the lightbulb was very unreliable. In fact the second time I switched the lamp on it did not work. Since then it has been hit and miss. Now it simply will not come on at all. I went today looking for a replacement bulb at [@] and [@] but nobody has seen this kind of bulb ever. I checked on the Ottlite website and it is not there either.Very disappointing.
