Attractive lamp post, though bit bright

Similar to the Portman Square Olde Bronze 8" High Outdoor Wall Light, the post light looks great during the day and at night. Much like the other lights in this family, I first tried a white CFL bulb inside, but found that the glass actually let too much light through, causing quite a bit of glare. By replacing the white CFL with a yellow CFL "bug light", the brightness was reduced to an acceptable level. I have already received quite a few complements on the fixture (both during the day and the night), and I am very pleased with the fixture.
