This light is aboslutely beautiful and appears very well made and sturdy. We are doing an entire remodel and our electrician LOVED this light, and was impressed with the quality. He said it was easy to install, and he added a dimmer: with full power, this light gives excellent light, and since we are using it in our dining room, we also wanted the option of having a candlelight effect. The chrome canopy reflects the 12 disks perfectly and makes them look double in number. It gives lots of additional optical depth to this 7 1/2" high light (size is great for many mid-century homes with 8' ceilings). Our electrician said that the halogen bulbs would last for years before needing to be changed. The light comes with 2 extra bulbs. Item was packed in two boxes, one carefully nested within the larger outer box. This was worth the wait I had to endure before it was delivered. If you like contempory decore, you just cannot go wrong with this beauty. I have received so many complements
