This is a very beautiful light, but it doesn't give the amount of light that I want from an over-the-vanity fixture. I should have paid more attention to another review, but it was sooooo pretty.

Used to update large bath where previous fixture had 3 regular down facing 60 watt bulbs. This fixure, even with 6 40 halogen bulbs, does not throw as much light as previous fixture, just barely enough to use as main bathroom vanity lighting. If it had 60 watt halogens that would be perfect. Otherwise elegant. Very sparse instructions for assembly, had to guess how to use cushion grommets included but not mentioned in directions. Worked ok with regular dimmer too.
