this is a wonderful accent light as it uses a 60W bulb and fits into a more contemporary space the sconces I received were almost all white, with few of the colors shown on the model(which may be ok for some) but I wanted the color :-(

Even though each blown glass has its unique appearance, I was a bit upset that these two sconces looked so different. Once we had them up on the wall it wasn't as noticeable, but still feel that there were too many varying bumps in the glass.

I put two sconces in my bathroom and they provide ample lighting for regular needs. However, I do not put makeup on in this light. The only warning on these sconces is that the pattern on the glass varies - you need to look at a few out of the box to buy two that complement each other and that have similar patterns.

Used this n a living room for ambiance. It's perfect. With the 13 watts cfl bulb it puts out a lot of warm light. We've now rethought our lighting in the room and are going to order a couple more. The only thing that surprised us ( but it looks good) is the iridescence of the glass. Didn't get that from the description or picture. The full size print out of products was the deciding factor when we bought this. [...]

Gives a beautiful glow, similar to more expensive natural stone shades. The glass shade has a coat of plastic to give color and texture. I had thought the color would part of the glass. My concern is the plastic layer may fail or be damaged over time. Looks much nicer than I had expected.

I installed the sconce on the wall of a small bedroom that had no other wall/ceiling lighting. It is very easy to install wiring it directly since it does not come with a cord. It's possible to use a cord but you need to buy that separately. It is of better than average quality and it produces a very pleasant diffused light both above and below the sconce. My wife and I are both very pleaed with this purchase. The actual color of the glass is lighter than the picture but it has the same tones. I highly recommend this sconce - it's very good value.
