great looking fan :-))
love this fan - we didn't install it ourselves, we installed as part of a bedroom renovation. We have two in the bedroom and I will slowly be changing them in other bedrooms too - looks great, and works great.
We use these fans to circulate, add additional air w/air conditioning on extremely hot days, and also when not using AC, but need air to move around.
This fan looks lovely in our room. It is quiet and very effective.
It took me about 30 min to install and it fits my 14x16 room perfectly. I looked at alot of fans and picked this one on it's looks but felt comfortable with the reviews to buy it. It took a few times of turning it on/off, hi/low, etc for it to get into the groove and produce good air circulation. This fan would be perfect for a small to medium size room. The light really isn't that bright but I won't use it much probably. The one big con is the motor hums but only noticeable when it's on the low speed. Also the low speed is REALLY slow. It comes with a cradle for the remote and screws to put it on the wall. I didn't know this and purchased the in wall control however I think I will install that vs use the remote.
The spline in the center is off, the whole thing wobbles, makes a loping noise. Very irritating/ I use it to cool the room when we're not in it. If you like 'whoop, whoop, whoop' cadence, then go for it! We have a cheap, ugly fan in another room that is much better in every way, except looks.
We bought this for the clean look, we dislike the fans with the bulbs hanging off it. Fan works well in a small room, 10 x 12 with 8' ceiling, and is nice and quiet. Installation is straightforward, and the instructions show you how to brace your electrical box, although they could be more detailed for a novice. The 40-watt candelabra bulbs are not very bright, so you may want to have some supplementary reading lights. I'm looking into some LED bulb replacements, but they are still pretty pricey. Dimmer works well, just hold the power button. The remote comes with a wall-mount bracket that I put over the box for the light switch, but only one screw can be used because the bracket holes do not line up with the box. I connected the wires in the switch box together, eliminating the switch, except for the circuit breaker. I may put the switch back in and mount the remote control bracket to the wall, but so far it is working fine.
This is a great fan. Quiet, unobtrusive, contemporary. If you get more than one, note in the instructions how to set each radio signal. If they are both on the same signal (they come that way)each control in separate rooms will turn on/operate both at the same time!
It really suites the room
This light/fan is in a small bedroom. The room is small. Because this is low profile and a ceiling hugger, it fits nicely. My girls love the remote and love that they can turn the lights down low too.
Looks good and functions as it should. A fantastic purchase. We had Lamps Plus install our fans. No complaints with any of it.
This is the second fan I've purchased and installed from LampsPlus. Both have been easy to install and with the remotes make a great addition to both lighting and air circulation.
I bought this fan to circulate warm air in the winter. It works well, but the first unit was defective. The remote sensor in the fan didn't work, and the whole unit needed to be removed and replaced.
Very modern looking
i bought 3 of these. one i installed in my kitchen. and the other 2 i put in medium sized bedrooms. it looks great in all 3 rooms. it's attractive to look and is not as obtrusive as most ceiling fans can be. it circulates air very well. it's so quiet i barely notice it's on. only wobbles slightly when on high. my only complaint would be that it would be able to hold 60 watt bulbs as sometimes i find myself needing more light for certain tasks
