Our house has fairly low ceilings, so the fact that this fixture is mounted close to the ceiling really makes the entire room seem larger. And it's gorgeous: kicky but not outrageously so. It adds a contemporary vibe to our fairly simple dining room set, subtly energizing the entire room.
