We got this for our living room. We wanted a bright and interesting light fixture and this really fit the bill. It has a lot of light, so we have it on a dimmer. Looks great. I was not sure I was going to keep it when I first got it because it was so "different" but now, I wouldn't part with it. I did not install it, so cannot comment on ease of installation.

I noticed that there is a delay of some bulbs when you turn it on. Most of the lights will come on right away and there is one that seems to have a lag.
