Exquisite mercury glass makes up the center of this Olde Silver table lamp. A decorative pedestal base leads up to the soft white fabric bell shade. An LED night light in the base is perfect as an accent light. A beautiful transitional design from Possini Euro.

Gorgeous Lamp

This is a gorgeous lamp. The mercury glass bottom gives a beautiful soft glow and it you could say it is shimmery. Beautiful, really. It's heavy enough not to tip easily, about 12-14 pounds. The information says the lampshade is white, but it not. In the photo it looks white, but it more of a silvery neutral color. If you want mostly gold tones, this might not be for you. Even the name of the title of the lamp says "silver." However,I would say it is goldish and silverish both, but because the mercury glass is so silvery, it makes the whole lamp look more silvery. I have blond 1950's nightstands with gold/black veined mirror inserts and brass handles, and it looks great. And the bedding is taupe. More browns/golds might be boring. I was looking for lamps that would take up to 150 watt bulbs because our place does not have overhead lighting. It has exceeded my expectations. It's really lovely.
