I wanted something unique and eye catching to put over my kitchen island and I didn't want a billard light style or drop pendant lighting. The lights are some of the jewlrey of the kitchen. We installed these and they are beautiful. They provide a lot of light for over the island so they are very functional. The shade is a gorgeous silver grey and the crystals have a good weight to them. Everyone that comes into the kitchen notice them first and can't stop looking at them. At Christmas, I can hang greenery from them. The crystals and greenery just make it pop even more. I purchased the sconces to go into the bathroom and plan on getting another chandelier for the bedroom. Even my teenage daughter wants one. I highly recommend this chandelier! You can't go wrong.
