Upon opening the package it was quite obvious to us and especially my husband, who is an electrician, that this was a very well-constructed fixture. We purchased two such fixtures to illuminate our very long hallway, and these certainly do the trick with great style. The interchangeable blue and amber shades that are included are great fun and make this fixture so much more versatile. I cannot comment much on installation other than to say my hubby did not cuss once as he was installing these on the ceiling, so therefore they must have not been too difficult...hee hee. I would highly recommend this fixture to you.

I use this for lighting hallways and illuminating art work. Works great and have gotten complements about how nice it looks. I did have difficulty screwing in the anchor screws because unless you disassemble the unit completely it is a tight fit to get a screw driver in to tighten those screws.
