We used this light to replace outdated fluorescent light fixtures in our kitchen. At first we were worried that it might not be bright enough, but it worked perfect for us. Not a super bright light, but also not a wimpy decorative one either.

We bought this light for our main kitchen light and it works well because the bulbs are VERY bright and each of the 4 individual lights can be pointed in a different direction. The bulbs are some type of halogen and are included. Probably will be expensive to replace at some point, but halogens last a LONG time. The overall design of the light is about 50% smaller than I had imagined, but the dimensions were included in the description, so I guess I should have just gotten out my tape measure. Even though it's on the small side, it works well in our kitchen and looks great! I would definitely recommend it!
